From Long-Range Missiles To Drones: Here's A List Of US' Arms For Ukraine

Washington: The United States said on Wednesday that Ukraine would be given a remote missile defense and the Switchblade armed drone, allowing Kyiv forces to defend better against aircraft and Russian armor from a distance.

– S-300 long-range missile defense –

Ukraine has the ability to shoot down the Russian plane and roaming missiles in a relatively close place. Washington arranges it to obtain a system that can attack the plane much further.

According to military sources, the system is the S-300 Soviet / Russia, which is like a US-made patriot system, is a land-based radar-and-missile launcher unit that can detect, track, and shoot on some remote entrance air threats.

Ukraine already knows how to operate the S-300, and the United States and a number of NATO countries have their system or component to supply Ukraine.

– ‘Kamikaze drones’ –

Washington will send the DRONE 100 Ukrainian Switchblade, basically equipped with a camera, a remote controlled flying bomb that can be directed by the operator to find and then, when ready, plunge into the target, explode on contacts.

Dubbed “Kamikaze Drone,” Switchblades can extend the range of attacks on vehicles and Russian units out of user vision. It gives them a profit for guided hotfoot missiles used by Ukraine against Russian tanks.

– ‘Saint Javelin’ –

The Western Allies have provided an Ukrainian army with around 17,000 guided missiles themselves launched with the Mandiri guide who has become a weapon of choice in the ground war. It is used with great effects to destroy armored vehicles at close range.
