Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro was taken to the Sao Paulo hospital for the test on Monday morning after experiencing stomach discomfort, the government said in a statement.
The hospital where he admitted, the Vila Nova star, said in a statement, the President had intestinal obstruction and in stable conditions. Bolsonaro “Okay” and more information will be given later, according to a government statement.
Bolsonaro posted a photo of himself on Twitter on a hospital bed, giving a thumbs up. He wrote that more tests will be made for possible operations.
Bolsonaro, 66, has experienced a series of medical problems because he was stabbed in the stomach on the campaign line in 2018. At that time, the President was operated by Dr. Antonio Luiz Macedo, whose team watched his treatment at Sao Paulo. The Globo television network reported Maker himself was on vacation in the Bahamas and waited for the flight back to Sao Paulo.
